What is the Connectivity Bonus?

The Bono de Conectividad or UNICO Demanda Bono PYME is an initiative of the Government of Spain, financed by the European Next Generation EU Funds, which offers subsidies of up to €3,000 for SMEs with up to 50 employees and the self-employed. Its objective is to improve business connectivity through solutions such as high-speed Internet, corporate mobile telephony, virtual switchboards, professional WiFi, fixed IP and cloud storage.

What services are covered by the Bono de Conectividad?

How to apply for the UNICO Demanda Bono PYME?

Applying is a simple process, but it is important to meet the requirements and follow these steps:

1. Check if your SME complies with the requirements.

  • You must have an SME with up to 50 employees or be self-employed. The average number of employees will be calculated taking into account the 12 months prior to the date of application.

  • Have a tax domicile in Spain or a head office in the country.

  • Be registered in the Census of Entrepreneurs and have at least six months of seniority.

  • Not to be a company in crisis.

  • Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.

2. Select an authorized service provider.

Choose a supplier such as Glofera authorized by the Government of Spain to offer subsidized services. We will guide you through the whole process, from the selection of the services to the application for the subsidy.

3. Sign the service contract

To initiate the process, you must sign a contract with the lender, which may be conditional on grant approval.

4. Wait for the resolution

Applications will be resolved within a maximum period of 6 months from the date of submission.

What happens once the grant is approved?

    Enjoy the services: once the grant is approved, you will start receiving the selected services for a period of 12 months.

    Justification of the aid: once the aid period has ended, we, as service providers, are responsible for justifying to Red.es the correct provision of the subsidized services.

    Payment of the aid: the payment will be managed directly by Red.es to the service providers once the correct execution has been verified.
